Fleadh Cheoil an Chláir - Tulla 18th – 22nd June 2008- To download the Timetable click here Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Fleadh Cheoil an Chláir in Tulla in 1958 Tulla Comhaltas was established in September 1957 and went on to host the County Fleadh Cheoil in 1958. It’s therefore highly appropriate that the Town is hosting the 2008 Clare Fleadh on this the 50th anniversary of that momentous event . CLOSING DATE FOR 2008 COUNTY FLEADH All Comhaltas Members wishing to enter one of the competitions at the County Fleadh Cheoil must enter via their Branch Secretary. Non members can forward their entries directly to the Fleadh County Secretary at Cois na hAbhana, Gort Rd., Ennis, Co. Clare. It is imperative to note that the Closing Date for acceptance of all entries is Monday, May 26th. Under No circumstances will entries be accepted after that date. Full names of all competitors in Duets and Trios must be given. It is important to note that all competitors must be resident in Co. Clare. Age for all Competitors is at January 1st, 2008 Entry Fee as follows - Solo Competitions, Duets & Trios (per person per competition) U9 €2.00 per Member/Non Member Juniors: (9-12, 12-15, 15 - 18) €3.00 for Comhaltas Members €10.00 for Non Members Seniors: (Over 18) €5.00 for Comhaltas members €20.00 for Non Members Ceii Bands & Marching Bands €15.00 per ensembe Grupai Cheoil €15.00 per ensemble The Entry Fee also covers admission on the day for the competitors.
